22642. Manipur gets freight train connectivity; PM says it will enhance state’s commerce.
- With the first freight train reaching Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said this will enhance the state’s commerce and connectivity as goods from there will reach all parts of the country.

22643. Northeast economic corridor aims at improving trade with Southeast Asia, says G Kishan Reddy
- Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Friday held a meeting to discuss various developmental projects and North East Economic Corridor and said that the main aim includes economic development of the region and improvement of its trade with South East Asia.
- The Minister proposed that the Secretary of the DoNER ministry will work on creating an "inter-ministerial task force with the involvement of other ministries.
- Reddy further suggested that ADB could focus on the capacity building of non governmental sector and that he looked forward to their partnership in funding and execution to deliver the expected results in the region.

22644. Centre ensuring infra development in northeastern region through a non-lapsable pool of resources
- The broad objective of the Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR) is to ensure speedy development of infrastructure in the North Eastern Region and Sikkim by increasing the flow of budgetary financing for specific viable infrastructure projects/schemes in the region.
- NLCPR is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme where the funding pattern is 90:10 (Central: State). The fund would be released/ sanctioned to the State Government in the form of 90:10. 90 % of the approved cost would be released by the Ministry of DoNER as grant. Balance 10% being state share would be contributed by the State Govt.
- Both physical and social infrastructure sectors such as Irrigation and Flood Control, Power, Roads and Bridges, Education, Health, Water Supply, and Sanitation – are considered for providing support under the Central Pool, with projects in physical infrastructure sector receiving priority.

22645. भारतीय रेलवे की ‘ऑक्सीजन एक्सप्रेस’ ट्रेन की अगवानी कर नौवां राज्य बनने जा रहा है उत्तराखंड
- ऑक्सीजन एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों से कर्नाटक, महाराष्ट्र, एमपी, हरियाणा, तेलंगाना, राजस्थान, दिल्ली और यूपी में 5735 मीट्रिक टन से भी अधिक ऑक्सीजन पहुंचाई गई
- 90 से भी अधिक ऑक्सीजन एक्सप्रेस ने अपनी यात्राएं पूरी कर ली हैं. 120 एमटी ऑक्सीजन के साथ पहली ऑक्सीजन एक्सप्रेस आज रात उत्तराखंड पहुंचेगी
- अब तक महाराष्ट्र में 293 एमटी, उत्तर प्रदेश में लगभग 1630 एमटी, मध्य प्रदेश में 340 एमटी, हरियाणा में 812 एमटी, तेलंगाना में 123 एमटी, राजस्थान में 40 एमटी, कर्नाटक में 120 एमटी और दिल्ली में 2383 एमटी से भी अधिक ऑक्सीजन उतारी गई है
22646. घर-घर नि:शुल्क ऑक्सीजन कंसन्ट्रेटर पहुंचाएंगी ओला, गिव इंडिया
- घरों में पृथकवास में रह रहे कोविड-19 मरीजों के लिए ओला ऐप के जरिए नि:शुल्क ऑक्सीजन कंसन्ट्रेटर उपलब्ध कराने को लेकर ओ2फोरइंडिया नाम की पहल शुरू की गयी है ओला फाउंडेशन-गिवइंडिया फाउंडेशन की इस पहल के शुभारंभ के मौके पर कर्नाटक के उप मुख्यमंत्री और राज्य कोविड कार्य बल के प्रमुख सी एन ए नारायण ने कहा कि सबसे पहले यहां के मल्लेश्वरम और कोरमंगला इलाकों में यह सेवा कार्यान्वित की जा रही है
- बेंगलुरु में 500 ऑक्सीजन सिलिंडरों की शुरुआती खेप के साथ सेवा शुरू कर दी गयी है. नारायण ने बताया कि ओला और गिवइंडिया आने वाले हफ्तों में अधिकतम 10,000 कंसन्ट्रेटर के साथ पूरे देश में पहल का विस्तार करेंगे. लाभार्थी को प्रति कंसन्ट्रेटर 5,000 रुपए का सेक्योरिटी डिपॉजिट जमा करना होगा. यह पैसा बाद में लौटा दिया जाएगा.
- उपभोक्ता कुछ बुनियादी सूचनाएं देकर ओला ऐप के जरिए ऑक्सीजन कंसन्ट्रेटर के लिए अनुरोध कर सकते हैं. अनुरोध किये जाने के बाद उसका सत्यापन किया जाएगा और इसके बाद ओला अपने विशेष रूप से प्रशिक्षित किए गए चालक के साथ अपनी एक कैब में कंसन्ट्रेटर उपभोक्ता के घर पहुंचाएगी. एक बार मरीज की हालत बेहतर होने और कंसन्ट्रेटर की जरूरत खत्म हो जाने पर ओला उपकरण वापस ले लेगी और आगे दूसरे मरीजों के लिए तैयार कराने के मकसद से उसे गिवइंडिया को लौटा देगी.
22647. World Health Organisation praises Uttar Pradesh’s door-to-door Covid testing in villages
- LUCKNOW: After mentoring Uttar Pradesh to launch a massive door-to-door campaign to isolate hidden Covid cases in villages, World Health Organisation lauded the state’s effort, saying micro planning, house visits, concurrent monitoring and follow-ups were crucial to ensure no one missed access to vaccination and health care services.
- “Uttar Pradesh government has initiated house-to-house active case finding of Covid-19 in rural areas to contain transmission by testing people with symptoms for rapid isolation, disease management and contact tracing,” the article stated. WHO, which supported
- Uttar Pradesh government in training and micro planning for the activity, now has field officers on the ground to monitor and share real-time feedback with the government for immediate corrective action.
22648. Tech Mahindra Foundation, Mission Oxygen to set up 50 oxygen plants for charitable, govt hospitals
- Tech Mahindra Foundation, the philanthropic arm of IT firm Tech Mahindra, on Wednesday said it is supporting Mission Oxygen and will set up 50 oxygen plants for charitable and government hospitals as part of its efforts to support COVID-19 relief efforts.
- The goal of this initiative, in its second phase, will be to also enable hospitals to become self-sufficient by enabling the provision of PSA (pressure swing adsorption) plants.
- Few of these plants will produce cylindrical capacity of 15 Nm3/hour which will amount to 55 oxygen cylinders per day. This will be able to support uninterrupted O2 supply to 27-30 patients, a statement said.
22649. दिल्ली के DRDO कोरोना अस्पताल को सबसे पहले दी जाएगी एंटी-कोविड ड्रग 2 DG, जानें इसकी खूबियां
- डीआरडीओ ने भी अपने वैज्ञानिकों को कोरोना से निपटने के लिए और दवा पर शोध करने के लिए पहले दिन ही लगा दिया था. तकरीबन एक साल के शोध और क्लिनिकल ट्रायल के बाद जो दवा बनकर आई वो है 2-डीऑक्सी-डी-ग्लूकोज (drug 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG).
- डीआरडीओ द्वारा बनाई गई 2-डीऑक्सी-डी-ग्लूकोज दवा को कोरोना को फैलने से रोकने के लिए रामबाण माना जा रहा है. सफल ट्रायल के बाद इस दवा को सबसे पहले दिल्ली के डीआरडीओ कोविड अस्पतालों (DRDO Covid Hospital) में दिया जाएगा.
- सूत्रों के मुताबिक अगले एक-दो दिन में 2 डीजी को कोरोना पीड़ितों के इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भेजा जाएगा. डीआरडीओ के वैज्ञानिकों के मुताबिक ये दवा एक पाउडर के रूप में होगी, जिसका इस्तेमाल भी बहुत आसान होगा.
22650. PM केयर्स फंड ने DRDO के ऑक्सीकेयर सिस्टम को दी मंजूरी, खरीदी जाएंगी डेढ़ लाख यूनिट
- डीआरडीओ की तरफ से तैयार किए गए ऑक्सीकेयर सिस्टम को पीएम केयर्स फंड की तरफ से मंजूरी मिल गई है। जल्द ही इसकी सप्लाई प्रक्रिया शुरू की जा सकती है। बुधवार को डीआरडीओ की तरफ से इस बात की जानकारी दी गई है।
- पीएम केयर्स फंड ने 322.5 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से डीआरडीओ द्वारा विकसित ऑक्सीकेयर सिस्टम की 1 लाख 50 हजार यूनिट की खरीद को मंजूरी दी है। डीआरडीओ के मुताबिक यह एक SpO2 आधारित आक्सीजन सप्लाई सिस्टम है, जो आक्सीजन को नियंत्रित करता है, जो महसूस किए SpO2 स्तर के आधार पर मरीज तक आक्सीजन पहुंचाता है।
- जो जानकारी मिल रही है उसके मुताबिक इस सौदे में एनआरबीएम मास्क के साथ 1 लाख मैन्युल और 50 हजार ऑटोमैटिक ऑक्सीकेयर सिस्टम खरीदे जाएंगे। डीआरडीओ की तरफ से जारी बयान में बताया गया है कि ऑक्सीकेयर सिस्टम Spo2 स्तर के आधार पर सप्लीमेंटल ऑक्सीजन पहुंचाता है और पेशेंट को हाइपॉक्सिया से बचाता है।
